This one’s for the moms…
Callie started to drift off, the sweet silence of the afternoon overtaking her desire to get up and do something. Anything. It didn’t matter. She was so tired she could feel her very bones yawning. The night before had been a little brutal. The twins had their days and nights mixed up.
She lay back on her bed, the one she shared with her husbands, though lately there was usually only one of them trying futilely to sleep. Weariness seeped over her now that there were no sweet baby noises to keep her awake. She would just close her eyes. Just for a minute.
Zane was outside mowing the lawn and making sure the cabin was ready for the coming winter. Nate was at work. And the twins were finally sleeping at the same time. She was all alone, and there was nothing to do except give in.
It was the perfect time to just get a little tiny bit of shut-eye. Especially since the babies would almost certainly be awake all night long.
She let her eyes drift closed and fell into her best dream.
Nate smiled down at her, his perfectly cut chest on display. He was a damn Greek god, and he was smiling down at her like she was a cup of ambrosia. She was kneeling on their bed, her breasts thrust up and waiting for his touch when she felt Zane come in behind her. She needed this. She needed them.
Nate leaned over and sucked a perky nipple into his mouth. Callie felt her whole world tilt. She had a baby at her breast almost constantly, but in her dreams those breasts were still firm and pert, ready for the attention of her husbands. Nate sucked her nipples, one after another, his tongue lavishing affection while he twisted the other between his thumb and forefinger. He pinched at her, making her writhe. He sucked hard, the sensation in her nipples going straight to her pussy. She was getting wet and soft and ready for some hard cock play.
She sighed as she felt Zane crawl on the bed behind her.
His hands cupped her hips, and she felt the hard line of his massive erection nestle between the cheeks of her ass. He loved to fuck her ass. He would groan a little and spread her cheeks before dribbling lube there and lining up his cock to thrust home.
She wanted it so badly. How long had it been since she’d had them both? One in her pussy. One in her ass. Her men. Her home.
“You’re so fucking gorgeous, baby. Do you know what I want to do to this ass?” Zane whispered in her ear, his tongue licking along the shell, making her skin light up.
“And I want to fuck my sweet pussy.” Nate ran a hand along the folds of her pussy, sliding into her juices. She was so wet. Her pussy was weeping in anticipation of what they could do to her. How long had it been since she felt a cock ramming home, hitting her sweet spot, sending her crying over the edge into sweet oblivion?
Hands reached out and cupped her breasts. Yes. This was what she’d needed. She needed their hands on her. On her breasts and her hips, cupping her neck as they kissed her. It felt like forever since they had treated her like a sweet little sex toy to pass between them. They would fuck her over and over, changing places and positions every so often. One would suck her nipples while the other ate at her pussy. She would get to her knees and suck their hard cocks in turn, both of her beautiful men holding themselves at the ready for the attentions of her tongue and mouth. She would suck them dry, licking in long passes and then suckling their cockheads to taste the savory sweetness of their pre-cum. She would suck them until they came, coating her throat in their essence.
Nate leaned over and kissed her, his tongue surging in. She opened herself and let her tongue slide against his, dancing a waltz only the two of them could enjoy.
“You’re so beautiful.” Even while she kissed Nate, Zane was there. She was always surrounded by their love.
Blessed. She was blessed with this amazing love from these amazing men, and she was enough for them. She was their woman. She was all they needed. Callie let her hands roam over gloriously hard masculine flesh. There was nothing in the world but these men and this moment.
“Baby, are you awake?”
She kissed Nate with all she was worth while she reached back to Zane. Of course she was awake. She was never more awake than when she was with her men.
“Callie? Honey? You need to wake up.” Zane wasn’t saying the things he should say. He should be saying things like, “I want you so bad” and “I can’t stop.”
Callie tried to hold on to her dream, snuggling down in the sheets.
Zane’s voice was insistent. “Baby? Charlie’s hungry. I’m so sorry, babe. We’re out of milk. You haven’t pumped in a while. I know we have an emergency supply, but I didn’t know if this was an emergency or not.”
Callie stirred on the bed, her eyes opening.
Zane stared down at her, a baby in his arms. Charlie wriggled and pulled at his father’s shirt, trying desperately to tug something into his mouth. When he was hungry, he would try to nurse anything. Once when they were at Max and Rye’s house, Callie caught him sucking their dog Quigley’s tail in an attempt to gain sustenance.
“Are you okay, babe?” Zane asked, concern in his green eyes. “I could unfreeze the milk.”
The late-afternoon light struck her eyes, and she wiped a hand across them, weariness invading her veins. It had only been a dream. It was definitely time to wake up. “I’m fine.”
She wasn’t. She was way too fat, and she didn’t sleep anymore. She fed her babies and rocked them and held them and loved them. She adored her babies, but she hadn’t felt like a woman in months. She still didn’t feel like it. She sat up in bed. The big bed where they used to make love to her seemed now like just a way station between picking up the babies.
She looked down at her T-shirt. It had two beer steins facing a sweetly curved glass of red wine with the Trio logo above it. She’d loved that logo because it seemed to stand for her and Nate and Zane. Trio was their business. Zane’s bar was where all the women in Bliss went for a drink and to pick up a hottie—or two. It used to cling to her every curve, but now it emphasized the rolls pregnancy had left behind. And it had a couple of stains on it she didn’t like to think about how she’d gotten. Her babies liked to spit up.
She sighed and pulled her shirt up, letting down the cup of her nursing bra. They weren’t sexy anymore. She was just a mom, and her husbands didn’t seem to look at her as anything else now. Over the last few months, they had settled into a polite partnership as they got used to being parents. “All right. Pass me the pillow, please.”
She took Charlie in her arms. He was such a sweet little boy. His fat little legs kicked out and his fists pumped, and he started to nuzzle her. He knew just what he wanted. He latched on before Zane had placed the circular half pillow under her arms.
Zane gave her a little smile, his eyes on the place where she fed their baby. “I’m always in awe that you can do that.”
Yes, her breasts performed their intended function. They produced lots of milk, and they hadn’t had a non-baby hand on them since the twins had been born. She watched her son nurse and wondered just how long she could hold on to his dads. She’d never been a thin thing, but childbirth had played a number on her body. Nate and Zane were gorgeous. She wasn’t. How long would they stay with her out of loyalty?
“Yep, I’m a great milk producer. Why don’t you go and check on Zander?” She hated that he watched her nurse. It just reinforced the idea that she was just a mom.
He stared at her for a second, his gorgeous face frowning down. She thought for a moment that he was going to protest, but he simply took a step back. “All right.”
He walked out of the room, and she breathed a sad sigh of relief.
It had been eight weeks since the twins had been born. It had been twelve since they had touched her in a sexual way.
Would they ever touch her again? Probably, but would it only be out of obligation? She cupped her baby’s soft head. Charlie was a sweetie. Those blue eyes kicked her in the gut every time he opened them and looked up at her. This was her baby. Hers and Nate’s and Zane’s. He and his brother were the outer expression of their inner love, but she was worried that they had changed her so damn much that she wasn’t the same woman Nate and Zane had married.
She was different. She felt it deep in her soul, and she definitely saw it in the mirror.
She just had to figure out how to keep her husbands because she couldn’t imagine living without them.
Zane looked down at Zander and felt what he always felt when he looked at one of his kids. Some place deep inside of him that had always been tight loosened and a well of peace surged. He was a dad. He’d never thought he would be a dad. His own father had cut out when Zane was ten, but he was rapidly discovering that the whole dad thing was way more about emotion than it was about experience. He loved his babies. He would do what it took.
Zander was so peaceful. A tiny little human sleeping in a bed Zane had built, his little mouth moving as though he was nursing in his sleep. His kid. Callie had given him this, given them all a family.
And now she seemed to be pulling away from him. Not a damn thing in life mattered if Callie pulled away. “What am I going to do about your momma, baby boy?”
Zander slept on. The troubles of the adult world couldn’t touch him, and Zane was happy about that. He would do anything to protect his babies from that moment when they realized they weren’t the absolute, one hundred percent, most important thing in the world. He’d always known, it seemed, but he was determined his kids had those glorious years of childhood when they were the center of the universe.
Callie was the real center of the universe. Zane had figured that out a long time ago. But she didn’t seem to know it.
She hadn’t touched him in months. He’d understood it at first. She’d been so big, so close to childbirth. She hadn’t wanted to make love, but the twins were months old now, and he wanted his wife. He needed her. He wanted to sink into her pussy or push his way into her ass. He fucking craved her. He was an addict, and he’d been off her for way too long. He thought about her every damn day. Fuck, lately he was thinking about her every minute of the day and way more when he was sleeping.
Which he wasn’t doing much of.
Damn, he needed to make love to his wife.
There was a knock on the door. He sighed and went to answer it. He was due at Trio in a few hours. Nate would be home by then and the cycle would start again. Callie would wake up and feed the kids. Nate would get up with her until three or so, and then Zane would take over so Nate could sleep.
They were all tired. He was pretty sure that even though they spent most of their time together, they were all lonely, and he wasn’t sure how to fix it.
Zane heard his wife humming softly to Charlie. He sighed and crossed the small living room and opened the front door. Caleb Burke, who lived in the cabin across the street with his girlfriend Holly, and his partner, Zane’s employee, Alexei, stood in the doorway, a frown on his face.
“I’m supposed to talk to you.”
Zane wasn’t sure what to do with that. Caleb wasn’t exactly a talker. “Okay.”
Caleb sighed, his face creasing. “It’s because I’m a doctor. I don’t know why, but Holly thinks that makes me an expert on stuff. And she’s got the boobs. You know how that goes.”
Nope. He didn’t know a thing. Caleb was a perpetual mystery, and Alexei’s English was still horrible. He was pretty sure any communicating that went on in their household had nothing to do with language. “Sure. Uhm, do you want to come in?”
“Not really. I want to be fishing, but, you know, she has the boobs.” Caleb scrubbed a hand through his hair. “I’m supposed to talk to you about Callie.”
Now Zane was deeply interested. She’d had a checkup not two days before. Was something wrong with her? Had her blood tests come back weird? Zane’s heart rate tripled. “What’s wrong with my wife?”
Caleb’s face went blank for a moment and then his head shook. “No, nothing’s wrong. Not physically. She’s fine. I mean, she’s not fine or I wouldn’t be here trying to get through this very difficult conversation. I think we need to bring in a therapist for shit like this. I’m not good at it.”
Nope. He sucked. “Will you just tell it to me straight?” Not knowing was killing him.
“Your wife needs sex. She needs sleep, too, but mostly she needs sex.” Caleb nodded as though agreeing with himself. “She’s been talking to the girls, including Holly. Holly’s worried about her. They’re all worried about her. If you don’t fix it, I’ll have to deal with the women of Bliss, and mostly they scare the crap out of me. I would really like to avoid it. Rachel yells. Nell does that dancing thing I never understand. Laura uses logic. Really, Callie is the only one I understand, but this is about her so I can’t choose to deal with her.”
Why would Callie be talking to her friends instead of her husbands? “What did she say?”
Caleb sent him that look he gave almost everyone, the one that made a man feel like he was a dumb-ass. Yeah, Zane was pretty sure Caleb had a patent on that look. “Dude, she just had a baby. What do you think she said? Have you been telling her how sexy she is? Have you been, you know, like playing around? Trying to get into her pants?”
She’d been busy with the babies. She’d been tired. He’d felt like he shouldn’t. “I’ve told her what a great mom she is.”
Caleb groaned. “Yeah. Awesome. So your wife, who just had your babies and feels out of shape and tired, heard she’s good for having more babies. Everyone is having babies, and not a one of you thinks about what happens to your marriage afterwards. I’m going to like make a pamphlet or something. You need to make her feel sexy, not motherly. You have a family. Now it’s time to work on your marriage.”
Zane took a long breath, Caleb’s words sinking in. “She’s been tired. I thought she didn’t want to make love.”
A faint hint of a smile crossed Caleb’s lips. “She’s shy right now. She went through a lot, you know. It’s hard for women. One minute they’re just women and the next they’re moms. She was a trooper. She was great in the delivery room, but I think a lot of new moms come out wondering if they can ever just be a woman again. You need to show her.”
Callie didn’t think she was sexy? She was everything. She was the whole fucking world. She needed him to show her? He could do that. But should he? Her labor had been rough. He wasn’t sure how he’d made it through, much less Callie, who had done all the actual pushing and stuff. “She’s okay from a medical standpoint?”
Caleb nodded, waving his hand in a dismissive fashion. “Oh, yeah. She’s great. Her vaginal walls have closed right back up. The vagina is really an amazing thing. And her uterus is in fabulous shape. So it’s all good to go. Pound away, man.”
Yep. Caleb wasn’t the world’s most tactful doctor. Probably why he’d ended up in Bliss. “Thanks, Caleb.”
A huge sigh of relief passed his lips. “Thank god. Now I can go fishing. And Alexei said he’ll work a double so you can”—Caleb smiled and went into his best Russian accent—“show the mothers that her woman charms be working on you.”
Zane smiled. That was Alexei to a T. “Thanks, Caleb.”
He walked back into the cabin and checked on Callie. She was asleep and so was Charlie, his little head cradled in her arms. Even in her sleep she protected her child. Her head was back, her mouth slightly open. Her breast drooped from her bra.
Fuck, she was so beautiful. She filled his soul. He plucked the baby from her arms. She stirred a little as though she’d realized she could relax and fall into sleep. Her whole body softened, and she slumped down to the bed.
Sleep while you can, baby. Tonight won’t be about rest.
He was going to show his woman just what he thought of her, and he knew who would help him do it. It was the best thing about sharing a woman. Zane was never alone. He laid Charlie down beside his brother and went to call Nate.
Nate Wright hung up the phone and sat back, a smile playing on his face as he thought about the call he’d just taken. Zane had been very specific about what they needed to do. Nate was tired as hell. His body was weary, but his cock was wide awake. It looked like he was getting some tonight!
The thought of finally sliding inside his wife’s body after months of being away stirred something inside him. He loved his boys, but damn, he missed his wife. The months since he’d made love to her had been deeply lonely.
Now the only question was how to handle the logistics. Zane had time off. Nate didn’t work nights. But the boys loved to stay up all night, and that didn’t lend itself to hot sex. It lent itself to more of the same. Long nights holding and rocking sweet but fussy babies. They needed a change. Nate knew their lives wouldn’t be the same again. They had a family now, and eventually they would all want more kids. They would never get that particular groove back, but they could find a new groove.
He glanced out his window and saw just the man who could help him.
Stef Talbot walked down Main Street, and if Nate hustled, he just might be able to catch him. Stef was the go-to guy for scheming. No one could come up with a plan quite like the King of Bliss.
Nate grabbed his hat and ran out the door, leaving the station in the capable hands of his deputy, Cameron Briggs. His office manager had recently quit to spend more time with her husbands. And Logan was gone for a while. Finding a replacement for Hope was just one more thing on his ever growing to-do list.
He slammed out the double doors and jogged to catch up. “Stef!”
Stef was dressed in jeans and a flannel shirt, and yet he managed to make it look elegant. He turned and held out a hand. Nate couldn’t miss the latest addition to Stef’s wardrobe. He wore a thick platinum band on his left ring finger. It matched his wife’s. “Nathan. How are you today? How are the kids?”
The kids were great, and they were also a problem. Just for the night. “The kids are awesome. So awesome that I want to share them. With you and Jen.”
He nearly laughed when Stef went the slightest shade of green. “I don’t think Jennifer and I are really at the child stage yet. We have been discussing a nice house plant. If we don’t kill that, then in a few years, we might try a fish.”
Chickenshit. “Stef, man, I’m not asking you to raise them. Just give me a night. Even a couple of hours.”
A bright smile crossed the artist’s face. “You’re going to spend time with Callie.” The King of Bliss always had his ear to the ground. “She’s been blue. Caleb assured me it wasn’t true postpartum depression, just a little worry about the whole adjustment period. I’m glad to hear you’re doing something about it. Do you and Zane have a plan?”
Nate shrugged. Stef kind of was the plan at this point. Well, and he intended to fuck his wife at the earliest convenient time. “Not really. We plan on making sure she knows how amazing she is.”
God, he hoped his dick lasted more than two seconds. He felt like he’d been constantly hard for months. He wanted his wife so badly, and now that he knew she needed it, it felt like forever between now and when he and Zane could be with her.
“Bring her to the house tonight. You can use the playroom. Dad and Stella are home right now so Charlie and Zander will have plenty of attention.” He slapped Nate on the arm in a friendly gesture. “Jennifer will be thrilled. I’m the one with the fear of tiny humans. I apparently will have to get over it sooner rather than later. But, Nathan, tell her you’re coming over for dinner. Don’t mention you intend to whisk her away. I know Callie. She’s nervous.”
Nate sighed. This part was a mystery to him. He had no idea why Callie was sad. She was beautiful. The kids were perfect. Nate was happier than he could have imagined, but Callie was worried. “Why would she be nervous? Stef, I love that woman more than anything. Zane feels the same way. Nothing’s changed.”
Stef arched a single brow. “Nathan, you have two children. Everything has changed. Her body has changed. Yours didn’t. You aren’t carrying around a couple of extra pounds.”
He didn’t even notice it. “It doesn’t matter. Callie’s sexy. God, Stef, she’s the most beautiful woman in the world.”
Stef put a hand on his shoulder. “I know you feel that way. You’re a good husband, Nate, but take it from the man who grew up with her. She needs reassurance. Trust me. Pick her up and carry her away or she’ll come up with a hundred excuses why it’s a bad idea. You just need to show her. I’ll make sure you have all night and everything you need to make the evening memorable.”
For Stef, a memorable evening could be quite the kinkfest. The idea of getting freaky with his wife made Nate’s heart pound. He wanted to inhale her. “And I’ll make sure you have a ton of breast milk.”
Now Stef Talbot was a definite shade of green. “I already regret this. Tell the children to do all their business before they come over. I do not change diapers. I’ll expect you at seven.”
The King of Bliss walked off, and Nate stifled a laugh. He was pretty sure Stef was in for a night to remember.
And he was going to make damn sure Callie never forgot the night, either.
Callie stared up at her gorgeous husband. Nate had come home and immediately changed into a button-down and jeans that hugged his entirely perfect ass. “I don’t understand. I haven’t heard anything about a dinner party. I had lunch with Jen this afternoon. She didn’t mention it.”
She couldn’t go to one of Stef’s parties. She didn’t fit into any of her old clothes. She would have to pull out the maternity dresses that hung on her like a tent. And who else was going to be there? Rachel, who seemed to have dropped all her baby weight with ease? Laura, who looked like a damn supermodel? Jen would definitely be there. Jen was younger, and she was elegant and slender.
She hated the fact that she was thinking that way about her friends, but she felt so lost. She’d never struggled with her body before. She’d always been a little bigger than the norm, but she’d grown up around nudists so body issues hadn’t been a problem. But now she couldn’t seem to make them go away. She didn’t even walk around naked anymore. It seemed like tempting fate. What would happen if she caught Nate or Zane with a look of distaste on their faces? How would she ever handle that?
“It’s not really a party,” Nate explained as he packed up two diaper bags. He seemed to be packing for the apocalypse, not a few hours at a friend’s house. “I just ran into Stef and he mentioned he hadn’t seen us much since the babies were born, and he asked if we would like dinner tonight. I said yes.”
“But I took out a casserole.” She was still making her way through the multitude of casseroles and frozen dishes the town had brought in a show of support.
Zane shook his head, patting Zander’s back as he walked into the room. Zander’s little head was up, his big eyes taking in everything. “You took out something with tofu and squash. Stef has a chef. We have Nell’s ‘message food.’ I vote for the chef. We might even get meat.”
Nate held a hand up. “Me, too. I vote for dead cow or chicken or whatever.”
Zane pointed at the baby in his arms. “Zander’s drooling. You know that means a yes.”
Charlie gurgled from his perch on his bouncy seat, his legs kicking, making the whole chair bounce.
“I take it that’s a yes from Charlie, too,” Callie said with a little smile. She was helplessly outnumbered now. Well, if it was only Stef and Jen, she might not have to get too dressed up. It would be good to get out of the house for a while. And maybe she could talk to Jen about working out. Or maybe not. When had going to see her friends become a chore? She had to find a way to come out of this.
“We’re going to have fun.” Nate cupped her cheek, leaning over to brush his lips against hers. She shivered when he lightly bit at her bottom lip, dragging it briefly between his own, sucking just for a minute. She felt a sweet stir of arousal. Nate winked down at her. “Come on, darlin’. I don’t want to miss this meal.”
She took a long breath and forced the arousal down. That wasn’t going to happen. But she was going to try to have some fun.
Nate picked up both diaper bags and grabbed the cooler. She found herself being handed up to the front seat of the Bronco in no time at all. Nate held the door open for her while Zane locked the babies’ car seats into place.
“There you go, baby.” Nate put a hand on her back and helped ease her up. He was still treating her like an invalid. Except that his hand slipped and she felt him skim the curve of her ass. She might have taken it as a mistake, but his palm lingered, squeezing just a little. When she looked up at him, he had the slightest smile on his face, his eyes slightly hooded. “Go on now, baby. Get in the car.”
But she didn’t want to get in the car. She wanted to jump her husband. She wanted to wrap herself around him and ride him until she screamed. It had been so damn long.
Charlie gave a little giggling cry, and she remembered where she was. She was a mom with two babies. She wasn’t some crazy sex kitten anymore.
She got into her seat and buckled up for the short trip to Stef’s.
Ten minutes later she was greeted by her oldest friend and one of her newest. Stef and Jen Talbot were waiting outside along with Stef’s father, Sebastian, and his beloved stepmother, Stella. Stella started moving toward the Bronco with deep purpose as they rolled to a stop, her arms already outstretched. Stella had on her red boots, jeans, and a fringed shirt, her blonde hair in its normal helmet. She smiled as she approached.
“Give me one of those babies!” She beamed as she opened the door and affectionately pushed past Zane. She had Charlie’s car seat unlocked with expert skill. Jen gave Callie a hug and then picked up Zander.
“This one is mine.” Jen cooed down at the kicking baby. Charlie was lifted and taken away, his fat little hands reaching up for Jen. The babies were used to affection from everyone in Bliss.
It didn’t take more than a minute before the babies and all their accoutrements were whisked away into the big house.
Callie was left standing in the driveway with the men, feeling a little self-conscious. She started to follow her babies, but Zane reached out and grabbed her hand.
“Not so fast,” he said, pulling her close.
“But I’m hungry,” she said, gazing up at him. Zane was six and a half feet of pure-grade alpha male.
“So am I.” He practically growled the words at her, the deep timbre of his voice going straight to her pussy. She got the feeling he wasn’t talking about food.
“It’s fully stocked, my friend,” Stef said, handing Nate a familiar set of keys. Those were the keys to the guesthouse. To Stef’s private pleasure palace. Before he’d married Jen, it had been the place where Master Stef had kept his submissives. The playroom was known all around Bliss as a place for lovers.
Stef’s father frowned, his voice going a little lower. “Stefan, do they know about, well, about the collection you keep out there?”
Sebastian’s face had gone a nice shade of pink, but Stef merely smiled. “Yes, father, they know about the butt plugs, though I doubt after a year or so of marriage to two men that Callie requires one anymore.”
Sebastian cleared his throat and smoothed down his dress shirt. “Well, good. Didn’t want it to come as a shock.”
Nate winked down at her, stifling a laugh. “Come on, baby. Stef’s got everything ready. We have wine and some food.”
What was going on? This didn’t sound like a dinner party. This sounded like an ambush. “I can’t have wine or the babies will get wine.”
Nate shook his head. “Nope. We’re good, darlin’. I already talked to Caleb. You can have a glass and then we’ll pump and toss the milk after a couple of hours and then our babies will be rehab-free. I took out the emergency supply so the boys won’t need you until morning.”
Panic threatened to swamp her. It warred with overwhelming desire at the thought of being alone with her husbands, but then she realized her jeans still had an elastic waistband and panic won. “I don’t think that’s a good idea.” She needed a decent excuse. She would put them off and then she would diet like mad for a couple of weeks and work out and get pretty again. Yes. That was what she would do. They wouldn’t have to look at her this way. She would get back to her pre-baby weight, and then they could have a wild night. “I’m really tired. And the babies need me.”
Stef sent Nate a long look. She didn’t like that look. “I told you. You need to fix this, Nathan.”
Zane leaned over and made the decision for her. He scooped her up, hauling her against his massive chest, making her feel light and delicate in his arms. It had been so long since he’d carried her around. She only just realized how much she’d missed it. “We’ll take care of her, Stef. You should go and take care of your own wife. She looked a little baby crazy. I would watch out for that.”
Stef frowned. “Well, it’s difficult when everyone else keeps pumping out the kids. Rachel, Max, and Rye. Now you and Callie. Hell, Trev McNamara came to town, and suddenly his wife is pregnant. It’s in the damn water. I expect to hear that Caleb and Alexei have managed to knock up Holly any day now. I heard they’re trying.”
Callie let her arms drift around Zane’s neck. She cuddled close. She even loved the way he smelled. Masculine and clean. He smelled like soap with a little hint of musk. He was so sexy. And she smelled like baby vomit. She pulled away. “Come on, guys. This isn’t going to work for me. I can’t leave the boys.”
Zane frowned down at her. “You can. We need you, too. Callie, baby, we’ve done everything we can. The boys are safe. We’re close to them. But you know damn well we need you. This has been going your way for months. Tonight it’s mine and Nate’s time.”
“My way? Are you kidding me?” They thought she wanted things this way? She hadn’t slept in forever. She missed her husbands. She didn’t want it to be this way.
“Night, Stef. See you in the morning.” Zane didn’t respond, simply began walking toward the guesthouse, her weight no match to his strength.
“Zane, this isn’t my idea of paradise. I haven’t slept since the babies were born. This isn’t a picnic.” And it sure wouldn’t be anyone’s version of paradise if they saw how droopy her boobs were getting. It was one thing when a baby was hanging off it, but it was probably a turnoff without the whole feeding their children thing going.
“Not a picnic, baby. This is going to be a party,” Zane said with a sexy grin. “And you’re on the menu.”
Nate jogged ahead of them, an overnight bag in his hand. When had he packed that?
“Nate, did you pack my clothes?”
Nate turned the key in the lock and opened the door with the ease of a man used to getting his way. “No, my love. I did not pack your clothes. You don’t need clothes tonight.”
Zane swept her into the guesthouse and set her on her feet. “Take off your clothes, Callie.”
He looked so hungry. God, she loved that look he got when he really wanted her. That look made her girl parts soften and her pussy get wet.
Nate stepped in beside him, his blue eyes darkening. “You’re not a mom tonight, Callie. You’re our woman, and all I want you to think about is pleasing your men. You can trust that’s all we’re thinking about. We’re thinking about how to make you come over and over again.”
“But the boys,” she said, trying to put off the moment when she took her clothes off.
“The boys need their parents to be happy, baby,” Zane said, his eyes softening. “I can’t be happy when I’m not making love to you. I need you. Being inside you is my home, Callie. Don’t you know that?”
“Your home needs a little fixing up is all,” she said, trying to sound light and flippant, but her heart was hurting.
“What did you say?” Nate asked, his voice going hard. “Because it sounds like you were insulting something I love.”
He could be such a hard-ass. Callie sighed. “Nate, you can tell me I’m not a mom tonight, but I’m always a mom now. It’s just a part of me. And I have to get used to it. But I’m going to try to get my body back. I’m going to feel sexy again. I just need some time.”
Nate turned to Zane, frustration plain on his face. “What is she talking about? How is she not sexy?”
Zane simply smiled as though he’d solved the mystery. “Callie, do you know when I last got an erection? I mean besides the one that’s killing me right now? I was watching you feeding Charlie earlier today. I know. I’m a pervert. You’re sitting there feeding our baby boy and all I can think about is how much I want to sink my cock into some part of you. You might not feel sexy, but you are sexy to me.”
“Callie, you are sex and love and every fucking good thing in the world all rolled up into one.” Nate took a long, unsteady breath. “I know the boys need their momma. But I need my wife. We need our wife.”
There was no snarky comeback to that. There wasn’t an argument she could make or a funny way to deflect them. They had stated plainly what they needed from her and made her heart swell in the process. Tears filled her eyes. These were her husbands, her men, her whole world.
Her hands went to the bottom of her T-shirt. “You two better remember all those parts about for better or worse.”
“Callie, don’t try my patience. Take off your clothes and show me my pussy.” Zane stood his ground, his emerald eyes watching her. “You took me with all these scars. Don’t you dare think I would reject you because of a few pounds. I don’t give a shit if you lose them. I love your curves. I love every inch of you. Those slight imperfections came from carrying our babies. They’re beautiful. How could you think for a second I wouldn’t want you? Do you really think so little of me, Callie?”
She looked between Nate and Zane and suddenly wondered how she’d become so selfish. Since she’d had the twins, she’d closed in, focusing on the babies’ needs and her own insecurities. She’d never once thought about how her husbands were feeling. Never wondered if they missed her. She’d fallen in love with two men for their amazing souls and then questioned them. This wasn’t really about Nate and Zane. This was about her. She was insecure, and they had done nothing to deserve it.
And she was more than a momma. She was a woman. Their woman. And it was long past time to prove it.
Callie tossed the T-shirt and glanced up with a flirtatious smile. “I pumped before I left but that doesn’t mean this won’t get messy.”
Nate started to unbutton his shirt, revealing his gorgeous chest. “I can handle messy. I think this whole episode is going to get very messy. Now get those clothes off. I want to see you the way you should always be. Naked. Waiting for us.”
And suddenly the extra pounds didn’t matter. This was home. This was why her babies existed in the first place—because she loved these men and they loved her back. And they loved her for who she was, not what she weighed. Callie tossed her clothes off. She loved to be naked. It felt natural to her, and she’d gone through months of feeling like she was closing off whole chunks of her soul. This was right.
She didn’t have to conform to anyone’s idea of motherhood any more than she’d followed society’s dictates when it came to love and marriage. She was Callie Hollister-Wright, and she lived in Bliss. She made her own rules.
She breathed a little easier with each piece of clothing she shed as though she could remove her insecurities and toss them to the floor. Like her ugly briefs, she didn’t need them. Not when she was with her men.
“God, baby, you’re so fucking gorgeous.” Zane kicked off his boots, his normal grace disappearing in his haste to get naked with her. He tossed his shirt away, revealing his gloriously cut chest. She loved to watch him work out. He struggled to get out of his jeans.
Nate was no better. His hands were practically shaking as he pulled at them.
How could she be worried when she had two beautiful men who couldn’t get out of their clothes fast enough?
“On the bed, Callie. I don’t think this first time is going to be about play,” Nate instructed, pointing to the bedroom. The guesthouse boasted several rooms. The bedroom had a mirrored wall where she would be able to watch her men as they took her. Callie’s skin felt like it was on fire.
Callie turned. A few minutes before, she would have been worried about how big her bottom was, but now she wiggled it a little as she walked toward the bedroom. Soon, very soon, one of her men would lube her up and tunnel his cock into her ass while the other rode her pussy.
“Damn it, Cal. You’re killing me,” Zane complained. He rushed behind her and took her hand, dragging her along. He tossed his naked six-and-a-half-foot body on the bed and pulled her with him. She fell on top of his warm, muscular body, their arms and legs tangling. “Kiss me, baby. Kiss me like you mean it.”
She did mean it, and the thought that either one of them could worry for a minute that she didn’t twisted her heart in knots. They hadn’t been talking. They could say “I love you” every day, but unless they really talked, really paid attention to each other, they could lose the intimacy she lived for.
“I love you, Zane.” She said it slowly, savoring every word, looking deep into those emerald eyes and opening herself to him.
His chest heaved, his hands sinking into her hair. A look of deep peace came over his face. “I love you, Callie. I love you so much.”
She kissed him, eating at his lips, devouring everything about the man. His touch, his scent, the way his tongue rubbed against hers, a silent request to dance. She kissed him as his hands cupped her curves as though relearning every inch of her. When she finally came up for air, Nate was standing at the edge of the bed.
“I love you, too, baby.” It was said quietly, as though he wasn’t quite sure what her response would be. Her heart ached. Was this how she’d made them feel for weeks?
Callie got to her knees and placed her hands on Nate’s chest, feeling his every muscle and the strong, steady thrum of his heart. He’d given up so much for her. Even years later, she wondered if there wasn’t something out there that called to him. His ambition had burned so brightly.
“Nate, are you happy here? I don’t mean with me. I know you love me. I’m so sorry for the last few months. I’ve been wrapped up in myself and the babies and I forgot to work on this. But I’m here now and I have to ask because I have to know. You’ve been here for a while. Are you happy in Bliss?”
His lips curled in a secret little smile, his hands dragging her close. “I have no idea how I would live anywhere else, darlin’. The best damn decision I ever made was coming to this town, and no one is going to get me to leave. I meant what I said that day we decided to get married. This is my home. This is my life. I won’t ever leave it.”
He leaned over and kissed her, passion flowing between them. Their home. Their life. So much shared. Even as she thought the words, Zane was behind her, his lips on her neck, his hands cupping her ass.
“Spread your legs, baby,” Zane ordered. “Do you have any idea how long it’s been since I tasted this pussy?”
Her insides quivered. It had been forever. She spread her knees and felt Zane sliding under her.
“He’s complained about it a lot,” Nate admitted, winking down at her. “You’re his favorite meal. At one point in time he actually had a calendar entry.”
“What?” Callie asked, her voice going breathy as Zane positioned himself. She could feel his hands on her thighs, spreading her wide.
“I had the boys’ due date marked on my calendar at Trio and six weeks later, I wrote in, ‘Day I can eat Callie’s pussy again.’ And it’s way later. Way later. You’re the one who made me keep a calendar. I blame you.” Zane’s mouth hovered right under her pussy.
“I meant that calendar to be for things like deliveries and important events,” Callie said, her mind struggling to maintain focus. His mouth was right there.
“This is important. Way more important than anything else. So I think a little torture is due.” His tongue came up in a long, slow slide against her labia.
Callie held on to Nate for dear life as Zane started to eat her pussy. He sucked on her lips, one after the other, and speared her with his tongue. She moaned, unable to keep the sound inside.
“Does it feel good?” Nate asked, his mouth against her ear, warmth spreading through her whole body.
“So good.” It was the sweetest feeling in the world, to know her man loved how she tasted, that he wanted her essence on his lips and his tongue.
“You smell good.” Nate’s fingers trailed down her body, tracing a line from her collarbone all the way down as he breathed her in. “God, I love how you smell when you’re just getting ready to come. Give me a little taste, Zane.”
Nate’s finger slid around her clit, pressing down on the little button before he brought it up to his lips and sucked it inside. “So fucking good.”
Zane suckled her clit, and the pressure started to build. Nate took her mouth again, this time sharing her own tangy essence with her. He held her tight as his tongue plunged in while Zane fucked her pussy with his tongue and his fingers.
“Come for us, darlin’. It’s our life’s mission to make you come.” Nate looked down at her eyes as the pleasure took her. She didn’t close them. She shared every moment of her orgasm with her husband, loving how hot his eyes got, how his hands tightened and his big cock twitched.
She shook in his arms, the orgasm lighting her up and making her feel more alive than she had in months. She’d avoided this because she was worried about a few pounds? Never again. They needed this.
Zane kissed her pussy one last time. “Thanks, baby. I needed that.”
He slid from between her legs.
“We all need this.” Nate’s tongue surged in and rubbed against hers. His cock was hard against her belly. Zane’s pressed at the seam of her ass as he got to his knees behind her and kissed her neck. She was soft and wet and wanted nothing more than to welcome her men inside.
Nate pulled her down on top of him, his hand reaching for a condom. “No more babies. Not for a little while.”
She could wait a while. She wanted time with these babies and time with her husbands, but one day she would have more. She would have a big family, more brothers and sisters for Charlie and Zander, more babies to share Bliss with. She took the condom from his hand and helped to roll it on, loving the feeling of his hard cock in her hands.
“Ride me, darlin’.” Nate’s hands found her hips, and he settled her over his cock, pumping up to get inside her. She lowered herself on his shaft, letting gravity work her down inch by delicious inch. He filled her. She was tight, but so ready for him. She teased her way down, enjoying the desperate look in Nate’s eyes.
Zane’s hand found her back and pressed her forward. “Give me some room to work, Cal. I can’t wait to get inside you.”
“Hurry, buddy, because she’s so fucking tight, I don’t know how long I’ll last.” Nate’s hands came up, pulling the cheeks of her ass apart. Callie rubbed her chest against his, wiggling on his cock. She couldn’t get enough of this.
She gasped a little when she felt the lube hit her asshole.
“God, I love that sound,” Zane said on a groan. His big fingers started to work the lube in, massaging her and opening her up. “It’s been too fucking long.”
He pressed one and then two fingers in, making Callie squirm. Nate held her firmly.
“It’s been so long our little woman here has forgotten how to behave in the bedroom.” Nate’s seriously blue eyes stared up at her. “No moving. Not until we tell you to. Who do you belong to?”
“You. You and Zane.” In the bedroom, she was their sweet little sex toy. She was a partner in everything outside the bedroom, but here she was obedient and happy to be so.
A hard hand slapped her ass. Zane liked to play a little rough. She’d missed that, too. “Don’t you forget it, baby. You’re ours. And if you don’t obey, Stef has a whole lot of toys here that I would love to use on you. I’ll keep you right on the edge. You’ll scream for me to use my cock on you.”
“I’m ready to do that now, Zane,” she admitted. They were killing her. She was ready to come again. Just an inch here or there and she would go over the edge.
Zane scissored his fingers deep inside her ass, reminding her who was in charge. “Don’t you dare come until I’m inside.”
She breathed a long sigh of relief as he pulled his fingers out and she finally felt the broad head of his cock start to breach her asshole. He pushed in using little strokes at first until he finally, blissfully slid home.
He groaned behind her, leaning over and pressing his front to her back until she was utterly surrounded by her men. “God, baby, it’s so good to be home.”
She sighed, breathing in the moment. She was wrapped in their arms. Right where she wanted to be. She loved her babies. She wanted more, but she wanted them for one reason, because they were the outward expression of her love for these two men. She’d been blessed to find them, amazed to keep them, grateful to love them.
Callie pressed back, taking Zane deeper in her ass.
“Oh, baby, baby, you can’t imagine how good you feel,” Zane said.
She could. She bet she felt just about as good as he did. She pushed her hips forward, and Nate’s cock slid in. This was her beautiful life. Any way she went was a pleasure, a lover, a whole life to be had.
She rode them, bucking and sliding, taking them deep inside. They held her, arms encasing her in their will. They played her body like maestros. When Zane dove deep, Nate pulled out just to the tip. Then Nate drove forward and Zane dragged his dick out of her ass, lighting every nerve she had there. Zane’s hand came around, finding her clit and pressing down hard, milking the tiny nub until she couldn’t take another instant. She felt her pussy clamp down as she came, the orgasm filling her every sense.
Zane went after her, gripping her hips and forcing his cum deep inside her ass. Nate held her and ground his hips up, shoving himself as deep as he could go before he let his cum flow.
Callie fell forward, utterly exhausted and completely at peace.
Zane sank onto her, forcing her down on Nate. No one complained. They were together, the lovemaking reaffirming their lifetime ties.
“Love you, baby,” Zane said before he rolled off, his arms pulling her close.
“And don’t think we’re through with you. We’re staying up all night,” Nate promised.
But they were asleep five minutes later. She grinned up at the ceiling, utterly unwilling to wake her men. It didn’t matter now. They could have freaky sex today or tomorrow or all the tomorrows to come. She wouldn’t let her insecurities keep them apart. Not ever again.
They were hers. She was theirs. And all was right in Bliss.
Deep in the night –
“Do they ever sleep?” Stef asked, looking down at the tiny human whose feet kicked. Charlie—he thought it was Charlie, but he couldn’t be completely sure—kicked those fat baby legs until he managed to catch one of them. Then it was a long, slow trip toward his itty bitty rosebud of a mouth that grinned and drooled as he began to gnaw on his own foot. It should be gross. He wanted to turn away because babies were tiny humans who had zero interest in following a well-thought-out plan.
But damn, he was cute.
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. He wanted a baby.
He was too young for a baby. He would never be old enough for a baby. Damn it. They were cute, and he wanted one. He wanted a kid with Jen’s eyes and smile and his willpower. Maybe not his willpower. No. Definitely with his willpower. The teen years would suck, but that kid would be a hell of an adult.
Jennifer grinned up from her rocking chair. She hadn’t complained once, just played with the babies and fed them their bottles and looked way too sweetly maternal. She was so young, but he’d learned that her heart didn’t have an age. Her heart was simply capable of deep love and infinite patience.
He looked down at his bride, his heart doing that weird flip-flop thing it always did when he thought about Jennifer for more than a second. Yes, she was young, but he was starting to wonder if she couldn’t handle motherhood as beautifully as she had handled marriage. Jennifer had surprised him at every turn, proving to be far more than just his match. A match was just someone who could keep up. Jennifer Talbot made him a better man.
“Oh, they sleep, babe. They just tend to like to do it on their own schedule.” She gingerly got out of her chair and started to make her way to the second of two playpens the Hollister-Wrights had brought for their clan.
God, he was crazy about her. Just the way she moved got his dick hard. She gently laid the baby down and turned to him, a mysterious smile on her gorgeous face. He would turn his Dom voice on her, but little Charlie was still eating his own foot and giggling up at him. It didn’t make him anxious the way it should. It simply made him wonder what his own child would look like.
“So, do you think you might ever want one of those tiny humans?” Jen asked. She sounded perpetually amused with the world. It was one of the things that drew him to her. She saw the world with such open and accepting eyes.
He couldn’t help it. He reached down and put a hand over Charlie’s fat little belly. The baby made a gurgling sound and his every limb twitched with excitement. Maybe that was what was so fucking great about kids—the brilliant opportunity to show another human being the whole world and to live it all over again through the eyes of his child.
Stef loved his dad. He really did, but his childhood had been truncated by his mother’s desertion.
Jennifer would never leave him, not willingly. She would stand beside him and raise any children they had, showing them the world and more importantly, showing them their world—giving them Bliss. He wanted his shot at being a dad.
“I do,” he admitted, his heart in his throat. He forced himself to catch her eyes, allowing her to see his emotion. It was only for her and his cobbled-together family. “Jennifer, I want kids. I know I haven’t given you any indication of that, but I really do. I lie about it because I don’t want you to feel pressured. But being around Max and Rye’s daughter and now Callie’s boys…”
He wasn’t sure how to say what he wanted to say. It was a vision in his head.
“You want your kids to have what you had. You want your babies to have Max and Rye and Callie as their family and all their kids as their confidantes and playmates and best friends. You want to have children so they can run all over Bliss and cause just as much trouble as you did.”
Once more, his wife proved she knew him so much better than he knew himself. “Yes.”
That secret smile came out again, curling her lips up. “I’m glad you want babies, Stef. Though I can’t promise I’ll produce a litter the way Callie did. I think this is a onesie.”
Her hand covered her lower belly, and there was a sheen of sweet tears in her eyes. His brain took a minute to process what she was saying, to put two and two together and come up with three. “Jennifer?”
She took a deep breath. “I hope you’re happy, Stef. Please be happy because I’m having this baby. It’s ours. I know we didn’t mean to have one so soon, but I’m happy. I want our baby to have Paige and Charlie and Zander. I want this more than I could want anything. Maybe not more than you, but I want both. I want you and our family.”
Stef took two steps toward her and got to his knees. She always brought him to his fucking knees. She had to know he worshipped the ground she walked on. He put his hands on her still-flat belly where his child was currently growing.
Dear god in heaven, he was having a baby.
“Stef, say something,” Jennifer said, her voice anxious.
He wrapped his arms around her, hauling her close. “Thank you.”
Jennifer’s fingers wound into his hair. “Stef, I’m so happy, babe. I can’t tell you how happy I was when I found out. I love you.”
“I love you, too.” She was his whole damn world.
“Dear god, the babies have made them insane,” a sarcastic voice said. Stef looked up, and Zane stood in the doorway. Callie and Nate were beside him. Callie was clutching a robe around her body. Nate and Zane just had pants on.
“Aren’t you supposed to be fucking?” Stef said, smiling as he stood. He put an arm around Jennifer’s waist, placing his hand over the baby. His baby. Their baby.
“We did. A couple of times.” Nate leaned over and kissed Callie before reaching down to pick up Charlie. “But we woke up and wanted to see our kids. I guess we’re just parents deep down.”
Callie shrugged. “It’s the best of both worlds. Crazy sex and a family life.”
Zane put a hand on Zander as he slept. “Sleep is overrated. I love this. I love having wild-ass kids. I hope we have ten.”
Callie’s eyes went wide. “Let’s go for four, baby.”
Zane shrugged. “The more the merrier.”
The Hollister-Wright clan settled in, rocking their babies. Stef held his wife while he watched them.
He could sleep when he was dead. He felt a smile cross his face. He was pretty sure even after he was dead that Jennifer would be there. Nell assured him that a happy afterlife awaited them all.
It didn’t matter. For now all was Bliss.
